Product Description
The model ZK4704-0421-2100 is a high quality motor connection cable designed and manufactured by Beckhoff Automation Technology. This product is engineered to ensure reliable power and signal transmission for motors in demanding environments.
The cable has a fixed installation temperature range of – 40 °C to + 80 °C and supports dynamic use in temperatures ranging from – 20 °C to + 80 °C. It has oil resistance according to DIN EN 60811 and complies with the RoHS directive. The flame retardant properties meet the IEC 60332-1-2 standard. The jacket material is made of polyurethane (PUR) which is durable and the cable is halogen free and CFC free. The wire comes with an outer diameter of 11 mm. It features a multi conductor design with signal, power and brake connections all shielded to ensure minimal interference during operation. The cable's copper bare conductor material provides efficient signal transmission with low resistance. It supports fast speeds of up to 4 m/s and has a maximum travel distance of 20 meters horizontally and 5 meters vertically.
The cable ZK4704-0421-2100 motor connection cable supports a maximum voltage of 300 V and offers dielectric strength between wire pairs and shields up to 2 kV. The mutual capacitance for the signal is approximately 45 ± 15 pF/m. The cross section for power is 0.75 mm² with additional AWG22 wiring for signal and brake applications. It is suitable for drag-chain installations with a maximum bending radius of 7x the cable diameter in dynamic applications. The cable’s outer sheath is orange with a black print and provides strong mechanical resistance. The shielding ensures over 85 % coverage minimizing electromagnetic interference while its torsion angle can reach ± 30° per meter.
