On the head A of this cable is incorporated the itec® connector from the Series 915 which has a plug type that is furnished with female contacts. This end has both power (3+PE) and signal (5) capability within a single-face layout suitable for a diverse range of industrial applications. Wiring connection at this junction is done in the crimp method which is a very efficient way of establishing a strong and reliable connection which is often needed in dynamic and mechanically stressful areas. The body color of this product is black, which conforms with RAL 9011, so the look of all systems is seamless. The Head B is made with an open end to allow ease of installation and connection. It boasts of an 8-wire plus shield arrangement to enable the user to come up with a system that best suits their requirements. The cable has distinct power and signal wire cross-sections, with the power wires having a cross-section of about 0.75 mm² (AWG18) and the signal wires having a cross-section of about AWG22 (0.34 mm²).
The cable's outer sheath is composed of orange PUR (polyurethane), which can improve identification and shield the cable from substances like oil and abrasion. The device has an outer diameter of 11.0 mm and can accept a wide range of installations with a tolerance of ± 0.4 mm.
