Product Description
The ZK4510-0020-0100 encoder cable is designed to effectively operate within cable management systems that experience continuous movement and bending. It is part of Beckhoff’s reliable range of drag-chain suitable cables suited for dynamic applications. This cable boasts remarkable durability, withstanding up to 5 million bending cycles for long-term reliability. It can handle speeds of up to 240 m/min, accommodating high-speed operations, while also enduring acceleration forces of up to 30 m/s². The cable is made up of seven wires that are 0.14 mm² each, which are used to send signals, and two wires that are 0.5 mm² each, which provide power. This configuration of wire sizes ensures that the cable can effectively handle both data transmission and power supply.
The ZK4510-0020-0100 cable has an outer diameter of 7.6 mm, with a tolerance of ± 0.3 mm. This relatively compact cable thickness makes it easier to install the cable in tight spaces or cable management systems. The 7.6 mm diameter also helps ensure that the cable fits well within connectors and cable tracks while maintaining flexibility for movement. The cable features a robust outer layer made out of PUR that helps shield the internal wires from abrasion, chemicals, and environmental factors, ensuring a long lifespan. PUR also remains flexible even in low temperatures, enhancing the cable's resilience even in challenging industrial environments.
The cable includes an M23 plug for easy connections and a D-sub socket. The M23 plug is located on Head A of the cable and features a female plug that includes 17 pins, allowing for multiple connections in a compact design. The D-sub socket is located on Head B of the cable and comes with a male socket that has 15 pins.
