This ZK series motor extension cable is engineered to handle up to 1000 V AC as its maximum operating voltage and meet rigorous insulation standards with an insulation resistance of at least 500 MΩ*km as per DIN EN 50395. It is built with distinct cross sections to suit varied functions: a 1.00 mm² (AWG18) cross section for power wires, a 0.34 mm² (AWG22) cross section for signal wires, and a 0.75 mm² (AWG18) cross section for brake wires. This cable maintains power wire resistance at or below 19.5 Ω/km and signal wire resistance at or below 55.0 Ω/km that ensures efficient conductivity. It provides robust dielectric strength rated at 4 kV for power wires and 3 kV for signal wires supporting secure and durable operations. The cable construction includes copper bare conductors and an optical shielding coverage of ≥ 85 %.

The ZK4501-8022-0040 motor extension cable is designed to perform in demanding environments supporting up to 5 million cycles of movement over a horizontal travel distance of up to 20 meters. This cable is well suited for drag-chain applications allowing for high accelerations of up to 30 m/s² and operating speeds reaching 4 m/s.
