The Beckhoff ZK1090-6191-0150 EtherCAT cable is designed for robust industrial applications. This cable is manufactured by Beckhoff. This cable ensures reliable data transmission for EtherCAT communication systems. The cable comes with a green polyurethane (PUR) jacket.
This EtherCAT cable features a tinned copper conductor with a diameter of 6.5 mm shielded with aluminum clad foil and braiding to ensure a shielding coverage of 85 % or higher. The star quad cable structure and conductor construction (7 x 0.25 mm) optimize the signal transmission while the outer jacket ensures protection against mechanical stress. The cable has a minimum bending radius of 5 times the outer cable diameter for fixed installation and 15 times the outer diameter for drag chain applications. The model is rated for a maximum speed of 4 m/s and acceleration of 4 m/s². This cable supports dynamic motion applications such as drag chains. The torsion angle of ± 30°/m further extends its adaptability. The cable is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 75 °C and the test voltage is rated at ≥ 2000 V.
The ZK1090-6191-0150 EtherCAT cable includes a characteristic impedance of 100 ± 15 Ω (100 MHz) and a loop resistance of 115 Ω/km or less. The dielectric strength between wire pairs and shielding is 1000 V DC that provides excellent insulation and operational safety. The operating voltage of the cable is up to 125 V while the rated voltage reaches 600 V. The cable is suitable for environments with high electromagnetic interference due to its shielding attenuation of ≥ 40 dB. This EtherCAT cable guarantees long lasting performance under demanding conditions with a dielectric strength and insulation resistance exceeding 500 MΩ/km.
