The model ZK1090-3191-1010 is a high performance industrial communication solution designed for reliable data transmission. It is manufactured by Beckhoff. This cable ensures seamless connectivity between industrial devices enabling smooth integration into EtherCAT based systems.

The ZK1090-3191-1010 EtherCAT cable features two distinct heads: Head A and Head B. Head A is an M8 plug with a 4 pin configuration. It supports a rated voltage of 63 V and a current of 4 A at 40 °C. It offers excellent shielding and an insulation resistance of over 100 GΩ that makes it suitable for demanding electrical environments. Head A uses a screw locking mechanism and is equipped with an A-coded male contact type. The recommended torque for the nut is 0.4 Nm and it can withstand over 100 mating cycles. The head is designed with a black TPU UL94 body material, green PA 6 UL 94 V0 contact carrier and gold plated CuZn contacts to ensure durability and corrosion resistance. Its coupling nut is made from nickel-plated GD-Zn and it is sealed with FPM for added protection.

Head B on the other hand is an RJ45 plug with an 8 pin configuration. It supports a rated voltage of 125 V and a current of 1 A at 40 °C. It provides high shielding capabilities with insulation resistance exceeding 100 MΩ. The connector body is made from black PC UL94 V0 and it features nickel and gold plated CuZn contacts for long lasting performance. Head B is well suited for harsh industrial environments with an operational temperature range of -40°C to +60°C. The cable is RoHS compliant, halogen free and flame resistant according to IEC 60332-1-2 with an IP65/67 rating for the M8 side when screwed in.
