Beckhoff is a renowned manufacturer of automation technology. The company offers products such as EtherCAT systems, PC-based controllers and I/O components. The ZK1090-3191-0075 is one of its EtherCAT cables designed for high performance industrial communication applications.
The ZK1090-3191-0075 EtherCAT cable features a rated voltage of 30 V as per IEC 61076-2-101 standards. It ensures excellent shielding with an attenuation level of at least 43 dB. The cable offers an insulation resistance greater than 150 MΩ/km and has a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω ±15 Ω at 100 MHz. This cable supports reliable data transmission with a signal running time of 5.55 ns/m and is compliant with Cat.5 Ethernet standards. It ensures low signal degradation with a mutual capacitance of 51 pF/m at 1 kHz and an unbalanced capacitance to ground of 3400 pF/km. Its dielectric strength is rated at 1000 V DC or 700 V AC between wire/wire and wire/shield. It is resistant to oil per DIN EN 60811-404 standards and offers protection against acids, lyes and solvents.
The ZK series cable consists of a conductor structure of 19 x 0.1 mm tinned copper wires with a cross section of 1 x 4 x 0.14 mm² (AWG26). Its outer diameter is 5.4 mm ± 0.3 mm with a wall insulation thickness of 0.25 mm. The cable is highly durable with a drag-chain suitability for up to 20 million cycles under specific conditions. It can withstand accelerations up to 10 m/s² and speeds up to 15 m/s. The cable's shielding consists of braided tinned copper wires with a 90 % optical coverage factor ensuring superior noise protection. The outer jacket is made from polyurethane (PUR) with a green color and color coded internal wires for easy identification.
