The EtherCAT cable ZK1090-3131-1020 is designed for use in industrial environments. It offers reliable data transmission. It supports EtherCAT communication with Cat5 specifications. The cable is suited for use in high performance industrial automation systems.
The cable operates with a rated voltage of 30 V providing shielding with attenuation of at least 43 dB. It has an insulation resistance exceeding 150 MΩ/km and a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω ±15 Ω which ensures reliable signal integrity in Ethernet applications. Its unbalanced capacitance to ground is 3400 pF/km while mutual capacitance is 51 pF/m at 1 kHz. The cable is rated to withstand dielectric strength up to 1000V DC and 700V AC with Ethernet specific electrical parameters based on Cat5. The cable’s loop resistance of 250 Ω/km ensures minimal signal loss over distances and the unbalanced resistance of 2 % enhances performance in long runs. The cable also has a signal running time of 5.55 ns/m that is critical for fast data transmission.
The ZK1090-3131-1020 EtherCAT cable’s connector heads (A and B) are M8, A-coded and shielded. They are rated at 63 V and 4 A at 40 °C in line with IEC 61076-2-111 and IEC 61076-2-104 standards. Its mechanical structure includes a 4-pin plug, male contact type and supports over 100 mating cycles. Environmental resistance includes operation between -40 °C to +80 °C compliance with DIN EN 60811-404 for oil resistance and halogen and silicone free materials. The cable meets CE, UL and RoHS standards and has approvals under UL-Style AWM 20963. Wake Industrial provides this cable with a one year replacement warranty which can be easily claimed in case of any faults or malfunctions.
