The ZK1090-3131-0025 EtherCAT cable is manufactured for industrial Ethernet applications. This cable is designed for high speed drag-chain use. It supports up to 20 million cycles under rigorous conditions. This cable ensures reliable and noise-free data transmission with a rated voltage of 30 V and superior shielding properties.

The ZK series cable's outer jacket is made of polyurethane (PUR) with a thickness of 0.25mm. This provides durability and resistance against wear and tear in harsh environments. The conductor wires consist of 19 strands of tinned copper with a cross section of 0.14 mm² (AWG26). The cable's maximum operating speed is 15 m/s with an acceleration limit of 10 m/s². Its bending radius is designed to be flexible requiring 20x the outer cable diameter for movement and 4x for fixed installation. The cable is shielded by tinned copper braiding with an optical covering factor of 90 %. The model features low attenuation shielding maintaining a signal attenuation of 43 dB or higher. The model’s insulation resistance is ≥ 150 MΩ/km ensuring long lasting electrical integrity. The cable has excellent electrical properties including a loop resistance of 250 Ω/km and a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω ± 15 Ω at 100 MHz.

The ZK1090-3131-0025 EtherCAT cable plugs at both ends are M8 4-pin straight male connectors with an A-coded configuration. They offer a rated voltage of 63V and a rated current of 4 A at 40 °C. The installation torque is recommended at 0.4 Nm with a minimum of 100 mating cycles. Shielding is applied on both ends that provides extra protection against electromagnetic interference.
