This simply designed Beckhoff M-1610 parallel module is a reliable and sturdy component in industrial automation. Beckhoff is known for its PC-based systems and the development of EtherCAT with a high-performance Ethernet-based fieldbus system as well.

This M-1610 parallel module offers 16 configurable inputs and outputs, allowing customization for each port. With these configurations, users have flexibility in setting up the module according to specific needs. Another feature is its 8 high-current outputs which is capable of managing heavier loads without complications. Each output can handle up to 2 A with built-in short-circuit protection to safeguard device and ensure continuous operation. For real-time monitoring, the M parallel series module includes LED indicators that display the state of each input and output. The input specifications are designed with precision. It also supports a 24 VDC input and only requires 10 mA. The inputs are fitted with a digital filter and a short delay of 0.7 ms by helping to prevent noise interference and ensure clean signal transmission. The module recognizes a “LOW” signal from 0 to 8V and a “HIGH” signal from 15 to 24V. This configuration improves reliability in challenging industrial settings.

This M-1610 parallel module on the output side offers high and normal current options and supports up to 500 mA and high-current outputs that reaches 2 A. It connects easily through fiber optics with a data rate of 2.5 MBaud by allowing fast communication within complex systems.
