Product Description
The Beckhoff KM1012-0001 module is a small but powerful digital input device made for use in industrial automation. The input device was made to meet the special needs of systems that need to be carefully controlled and monitored. Beckhoff is known for coming up with new ideas and making parts that work well with many different types of robotic technology.
There are 16 digital sources on the KM1012-0001, split into two sets of eight channels each. If the signal is "1," the input voltage range is 15 to 30 V. If the signal is "0," the range is -3 to +5 V. With a range of -15% to +20%, the module can work with a voltage as low as 24 V DC. There is 500 V of electrical separation between the K-bus and the field potential of the module. As long as it meets the requirements of EN 61131-2 Type 1, the input device will work with most automation standards. Around 3 mA are drawn from the K-bus by the module that helps keep power use low. The module is 26.5 mm wide, 100 mm tall, and 71 mm deep; it can be used in limited space.
In line with EN 60715, the KM1012-000 digital input device 1 is made to be easy to place on a 35 mm DIN rail. The input device pluggable wiring level makes interactions quick and safe. The module works in temperatures between 0°C and +55°C, and it can be kept in temperatures as low as -25°C. The resistance to shaking and shock meets the requirements of EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27. The emission standards are set by EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4. The input device has a CE mark and an IP20 rating for safety. Our products can be shipped anywhere in the world.
