The KL9184 potential distribution terminal is developed by Beckhoff. The model is a compact and versatile terminal designed to distribute 24 V DC and 0 V across eight terminal points each. It enables the direct plug-in connection for solid conductors. This terminal is ideal for high density wiring applications especially within industrial automated systems.

The KL series terminal is housed in a 12 mm wide polycarbonate body and is designed for installation on a 35 mm DIN rail. It conforms to EN 60715 standards for secure mounting. This terminal accommodates solid conductors and fine stranded conductors with ferrules. This allows a flexible wiring solution with cross sections ranging from 0.08 to 1.5 mm². Stripping lengths of 8 to 9 mm ensure proper wire insertion. The terminal operates without requiring external tools for solid conductors that makes it highly efficient for industrial environments. It has 16 connection points in a high density design and supports both 24 V DC and 0 V potentials. It provides eight terminal points for each voltage that allows for efficient power distribution in automation environments.

The KL9184 potential distribution terminal can handle currents up to 10 A and operates at a nominal voltage of 60 V DC. The model’s electrical isolation ensures safe operations in high voltage environments. It does not include LEDs or diagnostic functions. The terminal's operating temperature ranges from – 25 °C to + 60 °C and it is suitable for hazardous environments with approvals such as ATEX and IECEx.
