The KL6904 bus terminal is a link unit that ensures safe communication between input and output signals in industrial settings. The terminal is equipped with four safe outputs each with a maximum current of 0.5 A per channel. It follows the TwinSAFE protocol which is based on Safety over EtherCAT. This ensures secure communication for safety critical applications. This product supports safety applications with up to 15 safe connections and can handle up to 48 function blocks. The model’s power consumption from the K bus is capped at 250 mA and the terminal can work with a current load of up to 10 A for power contacts. The wiring accommodates solid and flexible conductors with cross sections ranging from 0.08 mm² to 2.5 mm². This bus terminal has a protection rating of IP20 and weighs 100 g.
