The KL1434 is a high-performance 4-channel digital input Bus Terminal by Beckhoff with the KL Analog Input Series. It provides absolute maximum data acquisition speed and performance, and it can be utilized for industrial applications. This module is rated for its operation at nominal voltage of 24 VDC to be used in cases where precise signal handling is required. The filtering means is put at 0.2 ms so that it allows the minimum time delay experienced in the processing of input signals that have led to the high performance of the system. The current drawn for input is roughly 6 mA and pretty energy saving with regards to limits set by EN 61131-2 (type 2).

The KL 1434 provides digital inputs offering 4 digital inputs and uses 2-wire connection technology for easy and failsafe connection. All communication with the terminal unit is performed via K-bus, allowing for disturbance-free data transfer to and from the control. Each input is represented in the process image for the number of 4 bits which means that the processing of control signals can be assured to be as precise as possible.
