This Beckhoff extension box module includes a 24 V DC up/down channel rated at 0.5 A, also protected against short circuits and without sensor. The base frequency can range from 8 Hz to 40 kHz, with a default setting of 250 Hz. The duty factor is fully adjustable between 0% and 100%, with precise timing requirements of TON > 750 ns and TOFF > 500 ns, while the maximum resolution is 10-bit which aids in ensuring fine control over output signals. A freewheeling diode is integrated for the outputs, enhancing safety and performance. It has a bit width of 48 inputs/outputs in the process image, with 2 x 16-bit data and 2 x 8-bit control/status values. | | |This IE215-0000 extension box works between temperatures from 0°C to +55°C and can be stored between -25°C and +85°C. The compact housing measures 30 mm x 126 mm x 26.5 mm, and comes with two fixing holes for M3 screws.
