The EPP2339-0021 is a new technology that leverages on the EtherCAT communication system to provide seamless and efficient transfer of digital signals, which ensures a high bandwidth utilization, precise synchronization, and extensive diagnostic functionality. The EPP2339-0021 EtherCAT P box is developed by Beckhoff Automation. It has 16 connection channels that are flexible enough to be operated as either an Input or Output depending on the industrial requirements. Each channel on this device is an M8 socket that requires a 3-Pin, a-coded connector. The simple design of this product makes installation and handling very simple. The box housing is also produced from polyamide, which is renowned for its high strength, extreme durability, and chemical resistance. The Bus interface on this product use a P-Coded, shielded connector.
There is a 3-microsecond input filter present at the digital channel. Wake Industrial provides worldwide delivery for this product; they also provide a warranty that lasts for 12 monthsafter the purchase of the EtherCAT P box. The auxiliary power current of this device is approximately 20 milliamperes, it also consumes about 100 milliamperes from the control voltage. To maintain high operation performance, the EPP2339-0021 should not be exposed to extreme temperatures that fall outside the range of -25 to about +60 degrees Celsius
The EPP2339-0021 has been approved for use in the European Union and the United Kingdom, each product package carried the CE and UL installation markings. To meet the UL requirements, the module box must not be connected to unlimited power sources or telecommunication networks. Upon installation, the EPP2339-0021 can detect faults automatically and react to them to prevent damage.
