Product Description

The Beckhoff EL7201-9014 is a highly efficient EtherCAT servo motor terminal designed specifically for compact motion control applications. Developed by Beckhoff, a renowned leader in industrial automation, the EL7201-9014 offers precise and dynamic motor control while maintaining a compact form factor. This terminal seamlessly integrates into modern automation systems, providing an ideal solution for applications requiring both space efficiency and high-performance motion control in a flexible, scalable platform.

The Beckhoff EL7201-9014 offers EtherCAT protocol for fast and reliable communication. The terminal supports one channel with an output current of 2.8 A (rms) and a peak current of 5.7 A for 1 second. Utilizing the ZB8610 fan cartridge causes the output current to rise to a high of 9.0 A and 4.5 A (rms). Three-phase synchronous motors that are permanently magnetized are intended to be controlled by servo motors. To offer accurate and responsive control, the servo motor has 16 kHz PWM clock frequencies, 32 kHz current controller frequencies, and 16 kHz rated speed controller frequencies. The feedback system uses One Cable Technology (OCT) that eliminates the need for separate encoder cables. The terminal also has two end-position inputs and one feedback input for advanced safety functionality.

Thanks to its Safe Torque Off feature, the Beckhoff EL7201-9014 EtherCAT servo motor>> satisfies safety requirements. The Beckhoff servo motor operates with a supply voltage of 24 V DC for electronics and 8-48 V DC for motor power. A motor brake output is also included to offer 24 V DC at a maximum of 0.5 A. For high-performance industrial automation applications, the servo motor combines PI speed control and field-oriented current control in dynamic positioning duties. We offer global shipment for our products, and includes a one-year replacement warranty.
