Product Description:
The EL6601 is an EtherCAT Terminal with a direct USB 2.0 interface that enables communication between EtherCAT networks and USB-compliant devices. It can transfer data and operate at data rates of up to 12 Mbit/s under full-speed USB 2.0 specification. It can seamlessly integrate with a variety of USB peripherals such as memory devices or communication interfaces. It includes a universal plug connector Type A that fits well in most of the USB-based devices.
The device is intended for installation inside control cabinets with an IP20 degree of protection to make it eligible for mounting areas without immediate contact with water and dust. Its cable does not exceed a maximum length of 5 meters, making its safe transmission in the form of signal via usual USB cabling possible. Mechanically, the EL6601 is made to withstand industrial conditions, qualified to EN 60068-2-6 vibration and EN 60068-2-27 resistance to shock testing.
