The Beckhoff EtherCAT terminal EL6692-0000 is a versatile EtherCAT terminal, which improves the data exchange between the nodes in automation systems. It is a member of the EL EtherCAT Terminal Series and it has been designed to guarantee efficient data transfer and system integration in industrial settings. As an ideal terminal weighing only 75 grams, it has the following leading-edge technologies suitable for small and big industrial automation applications. It has one E-bus port for connecting to the E-bus system and two RJ45 EtherCAT input/output ports for EtherCAT system integration in flexible and efficient methods. It supports ADS over EtherCAT (AoE), making it useful in areas with distributed control where real time communication is paramount. The terminal also supports 100BASE-TX to the maximum cable length of 100 meters, which offers a great deal for networking applications in large facilities.
