Product Description
The Beckhoff EL3403-0010 features a compact terminal housing made from durable polycarbonate, ensuring both strength and longevity. It allows precise and real-time power monitoring within EtherCAT networks, providing detailed analysis of effective power, reactive power, apparent power, energy, power factor (cos φ), and frequency. The terminal measures 12 mm x 100 mm x 68 mm in depth, making it suitable for space-constrained installations. It can be installed on a 35 mm DIN rail or mounted side-by-side depending on user requirements. Signal LEDs are integrated into the design of the terminal for easy status monitoring.
This Ethercat terminal features six inputs: three for current and three for voltage. This allows for simultaneous measurement of current and voltage in all three phases of a supply network. It is rated for 500 V AC maximum voltage in three-phase systems. It can also measure up to 288 V AC between the phase and neutral, making it suitable for various industrial power monitoring tasks. This unit can also be used for single-phase operation, offering users versatility for applications that do not need three-phase measurements.
The EL3403-0010 has a protection rating of IP20, indicating that it is suitable for installation in environments where there is minimal exposure to dust and moisture. It can operate in relative humidity levels up to 95% without condensation, making it adaptable to a wide range of industrial environments. Its recommended operating temperature is -25°C to +60°C, ensuring reliable performance in both hot and cold conditions. The terminal stands up well to mechanical stress and is rated for EN 60068-2-6/EN 60068-2-27 vibration and shock resistance class. This ensures reliable and durable performance across a variety of environments. It comes with a one year Wake Industrial warranty.
