Beckhoff EtherCAT terminal EL2521/PL3 is of unprecedented performance due to its RS422 differential output specification and it has two differential outputs for a single channel. Thanks to its high level of construction, the device can perform pulse output functions, including frequency modulation and control of a travel distance in automation systems, where it is necessary to regulate the speed of the motor and its position. Another feature of the terminal is to coordinate the distributed clocks, which largely affects the level of synchronization accuracy within the system.
