The EJ2889-0000 is a CE and UL-certified plug-in module that is specifically designed by Beckhoff for EtherCAT systems. It comes in a compact form of 12 mm x 66 mm x 55 mm that allows for easy installation and efficient organization within control cabinets or systems. The module serves as an interface between automation devices and actuators, isolating electrical signals at the process level. It is designed to utilize ground switching to manage control signals effectively. The module connects the negative side of the circuit to the load, switching the load on or off by completing the circuit through ground.
