The CX5130-0110 is one of the automation technologies manufactured by Beckhoff. It belongs to the CX5130 series. It operates with the Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system which makes it possible for developers to come up with applications and develop user interfaces in Silverlight. The WEC7 has an inbuilt 32-bit operating system with the availability of advanced multi-core support. This device does not include a TwinCAT runtime environment. The electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of this automated product conforms to EN 61000-6-2. It has a persistent memory capacity of 1 second which is properly integrated into UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). The CX5130-0110 has a maximum power consumption of 14W without UPS. It contains 4GB Random Access Memory (RAM) which is not expandable and a dual core Intel processor.
The CX5130-0110 is very flexible with dimensions of 142 mm x 100 mm x 92 mm. During operation, the device requires an ambient temperature range of -25 to +60 degrees Celsius, and needs to be stored at a temperature range of -40oC to 85oC. Relative humidity should be 95% with no condensation. The CX5120-0110 is highly resistant to shock and vibrations which makes it very durable and resilient. It contains 2 RJ45 connectors which are compatible with Ethernet networking and telecommunications.
It has quality E-bus and automatic recognition devices which are installed in its output and input connections. The E-bus has a constant current supply of 2A. Adequate safety rules and precautions must be adhered to in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1 so as to avert the occurrence of sudden electric discharge. The four (4) USB ports designed with CX5130-0110 have a rating of 2.0 each which can be used to transfer and receive data from other devices. The ports are compatible with many devices and gadgets.
