The CX2030 Basic CPU Module is an efficient CPU with a clock rate of 1.5 GHz. It supports an Intel® Core™ i7 processor with dual cores. It has a fan-less design with no rotating components. The CX2030 series comes with a standard 2GB RAM along with the CPU and the chipset. You can upgrade that to 4GB. The module uses a CFast flash memory card to boot up. You will find two separate Gbit Ethernet interfaces, a DVI-I interface, a CFast memory card, and four USB 2.0 ports as the basic configuration.

The CX2030-0121 from the CX2030 series differs from other models depending on the OS capability and the TwinCAT options. It boasts a 128kB of NOVRAM, which is standard in the series. This helps retain data memory even when there is no UPS or any other source of backup energy. You can use the multi-pin terminals to connect components from the CX2000 series. The OS does not depend on visualization and thus can be controlled even without it. It has an extremely practical temperature range for operation, going as low as -25 degrees to as high as 50 degrees Celsius. The CX2030-0121 supports the Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 32-bit operating system and the TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime environment.
