Product Description

The CX2030-0113 embedded PC is a product of Beckhoff. It comes in a modular design like other CX2000 PCs and is intended for installation on a DIN rail. Thanks to its scalability, basic power supply units, PC modules, extension modules, and system modules are assembled and installed in a terminal box or control cabinet as required. The CX2030-0113 works with Bus terminals to record digital and analog signals from sensors and then transfers them to higher-level controllers. This embedded PC combines hardware PLC and Industrial PC technologies making it ideal for control tasks.

The CX2030-0113 is protected by IP20 class protection. This involves protection from extrinsic objects up to 12.5mm and fingers. It is not protected against liquid penetration. You should mount it in a control cabinet or terminal box. When mounting, leave a clearance of 30mm above and below the embedded PC to allow optimum airflow. Ensure that you use the horizontal mounting orientation. This Beckhoff PC should not be used in aggressive environments, explosive atmospheres, or living areas. Some of its basic components include a CX2900 battery pack, system, Fieldbus, and extension modules, and basic CPU modules.

The CX2030-0113 comes with a 1.5GHz Intel Core i7 dual-core CPU, a 2 GB RAM main memory and a Cfast flash memory card. The 128KB NOVRAM persistent data memory is initiated in case of power failure to store vital data and also when UPS is not used. The CPU module can support up to four modules making it ideal for demanding tasks. It features a TwinCAT 2 NC I runtime environment and a Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system.
