The CX9001-0001 embedded PC is developed by Beckhoff. The model is a compact, modular controller suitable for industrial automation applications. This PC integrates into control systems and is ideal for processes requiring consistent performance in various environmental conditions.

The CX9001 series PC features an Intel® IXP420 processor with XScale® Technology running at a 266 MHz clock rate. This ensures efficient processing for control tasks. It includes 16 MB of internal flash memory expandable to 32 MB and 64 MB of internal RAM expandable to 128 MB. The device supports 10/100 Mbit Ethernet with two RJ45 ports that enable reliable network connectivity. The model’s diagnostic LEDs are available for power, LAN and K-Bus statuses. It operates on Microsoft Windows CE and uses TwinCAT-CE-PLC or TwinCAT-CE-NC-PTP runtime software for control. The system is powered by a 24 VDC supply with NEC class 2 compliance and requires a 4 A fuse for UL requirements. It has a dielectric strength of 500 V RMS with an internal NOVRAM of 128 kB and 4 kB of I/O DPRAM for data retention.

The CX9001-0001 embedded PC comes with a compact form factor (59 mm x 100 mm x 91 mm) and a weight of approximately 250 g. The model is designed for installation in confined spaces fitting a standard terminal box with a 120 mm depth. It operates in temperatures from 0 °C to + 50 °C and stores between – 25 °C and + 85 °C with a 95 % non-condensing humidity tolerance. The unit meets EMC standards (EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4) and vibration/shock resistance standards (EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27/29). This embedded PC is rated with an IP 20 protection class safeguarding internal components against dust and external particles.
