Beckhoff created the CX Embedded PC line, which includes the model CX5140-0161, to provide dependable computer solutions for industrial settings. With four cores and an Intel Atom® E3845 CPU operating at 1.91 GHz, this embedded PC offers superior efficiency. Although this device does not support internal storage cards, users can customize their storage via its CFast and micro-SD slots.

The CX5140-0161 can handle multitasking without an update thanks to its base 4 GB DDR3 RAM. Data security and system stability are ensured by an inbuilt one-second uninterruptible power supply (UPS), which makes sure that no data is lost in a 1MB section of the CFast card in the event of a power outage.
