This compact and efficient system module has an Intel Atom® Z510 CPU which operates at a clock frequency of 1.1 GHz. The system operates on Windows Embedded Standard 2009 OS and incorporates TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime software which makes it a formidable option for machine control applications. It moreover accommodates various communication interfaces including two RJ45 ports for rapid Ethernet connections that renders it quite appropriate for networking and data interchange.

This computing device is equipped with one core CPU and 512 MB of non-expandable RAM which provides enough performance for diverse control applications. A 128 MB Compact Flash card provides storage which can be further increased as required. The Embedded PC CX Series model has an optional Beckhoff’s 1-second Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) which safeguards essential data in the 1 MB flash memory and maintains system stability during power outages. The CX5010-0121 embedded PC further accommodates various I/O connections using the E-bus which is automatically identified and therefore augmenting its versatility in industrial configurations.
