The CX2033-0175 is a highly advanced model in Beckhoff’s family of the Embedded PC CX Series that perfectly fits into industrial applications. It runs on an AMD Ryzen™ V1202B processor with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz, has two cores, and comes with enough power to handle several functions.

This system has 8 GB DDR4 RAM which can be upgradable to 16 GB right out of the box for better performance. The storage of this embedded PC is quite flexible since it has a CFast card slot but the card is not included, so the user can select the best option according to the requirements. The unit is compatible with different operating systems like Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC, and TwinCAT/ BSD to adapt to different software systems. The CX2033-0175 features two RJ45 ports for 10/100/1000 Mbit/s Ethernet, one DVI-D output for video output, and four USB 3.0 ports for data connectivity. Another interface can also be set to meet certain connectivity needs as well. The unit is equipped with a passive cooling system and an active cooling can be fitted at the factory if this is required for the application. Diagnostic monitoring is enhanced by the power, TC status, flash access, and bus status LEDs that are used in the system to allow for easy maintenance and troubleshooting. It has an inherent battery-backed-up calendar to help maintain the correct time regardless of power disturbance.

These I/O connections are well controlled through a power supply module that can detect the E-bus or K-bus interface. The power consumption requirements are moderate in this design, with 24 VDC as the power supply voltage, and the voltage has a tolerance of -15% to +20%; the maximum power consumption is 42 watts. The CX2033-0175 is quite lightweight and measures just 1165 g, which means it can be used in challenging industrial settings without occupying too much space.
