Product Description
When it comes to the variety of IPC embedded computers, the Beckhoff NX5120–0110 model CX belongs to the most compact and efficient class of Embedded PCs produced for industrial automation and control processes. This system uses the Intel® Celeron® M ULV processor, which operates at a clock speed of 1 GHz and is able to handle control tasks steadily. The processor has one core which makes it appropriate for use in automation tasks which are time sensitive in nature.
The module has 256 MB DDR RAM which can be increased to 1 GB allowing for more demanding applications. The CX1020-0110 is provided with a Compact Flash card slot for data storage with a standard 128 MB flash that can be extended for use in various applications. The device has 2 RJ45 ports which support network speed of 10/100 Mbit/s with an internal switch for effective communication in industrial setting. The operation of the passive cooling system is silent and maintenance free; it is however possible to add external active cooling during manufacturing for higher performance applications.
The diagnostic LEDs provide real time assessment of power, LAN activity, Twin CAT status as well as flash status, which improves installation and maintenance processes as well as quick power diagnosis. In-built and powered unit is the clock circuit which controls the usual clock at around 3 volts back up power system so that when power is off, the clock still functions, which is very important in cases where time is critical to control considerations. This tablet runs on Windows Embedded CE 6 or Windows Embedded Standard 2009 and provides for the TwinCAT 2 PLC, NC PTP and NC I runtime which enables it to conquer a variety of working techniques in automation and motion control.
