The Beckhoff CX1001-0012 is part of the CX Embedded PC Series and is characterized by advanced technology with its real-time processing capabilities and energy saving features. Beckhoff CX1001-0012 draws on an Am8043-1KH0-0000 microprocessor which has control optimization systems to achieve automation tasks that can run on Windows CE.

With the TwinCAT-NC-Runtime embedded inside this embedded PC, allows the system to run advanced PLC programs for motion control and help with real-time positioning systems. Considering the standard requirements for industrial focusing on this range Beckhoff CX1001-0012 is expandable up to 128 MB of memory modules which allows medium complexity applications.
