The CU2016-0000 from Beckhoff is an Ethernet switch that improves industrial network systems. This variation manages all Ethernet protocols and operates using a switching technique that stores and releases data.

The device includes 16 Ethernet ports capable of 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX connections via RJ45 interfaces making it a perfect fit for networks with a high number of requirements for connections. The CU2016-0000 optimizes data transfers and supports communication over a distance of 100 meters with twisted pair cables. The switch allows for data transfers at speeds of 10 and 100 MBit/s and automatically optimizes network performance by adjusting duplex modes. Every port includes two diagnostic LEDs that show link status and network activity. This model can utilize various power supply voltages of DC 24 V ranging from 18 to 30 V via a typical 3-pin connection.
