Product Description

The CP3215-0010 is a CP32 series multi-touch panel PC from Beckhoff Automation GmbH. The system is equipped with a mini PCI slot for inserting external cards. The device supports passive cooling through a heat sink. It features high touch-point density that helps in the safe operation of the unit. The product is equipped with a 15-inch display touchscreen. The multi-touch feature supports both two-hand and five-finger operation. There is no separate mains power switch. It gets activated when the power supply is turned on. When the PC is switched on for the first time, the pre-installed operating system gets booted. This product comes with a one-year warranty period.

The touchscreen of the panel PC should be activated using either the touchscreen pen or fingertips. The unit does not require any maintenance.  An identical type battery or an alternative battery recognized by the manufacturer must be used, following correct polarity, when it’s time to replace the battery. The device may function only partially due to a faulty display backlighting or defective components. If the power supply of the system is intended to function as a UPS, the UPS driver and its software must be installed. The unit must be removed and dismantled completely before disposal.

The display of the PC features metal perimeter protection. CP3215-0010 can be deployed in machine construction applications using TwinCAT automation software. There must be a low-impedance connection between the central earthing point on the wall of the control cabinet and the earthing point of the product. The Power Status output and the PC_ON input helps to establish the connections for shutting down the system. The PC can be shut down without using a battery.
