The CP2716-0000 is a multi-touch panel PC that is widely used in plant engineering and machine construction applications. It comes with an Intel® Celeron® (TC3: 50) processor that substantially increases its processing speed and multitasking capabilities. The CP2716-0000 has a 15.6-inch display (1366 x 768). For an elegant look, the outer body of the panel PC is constructed from aluminum metal. The panel screen is constructed from a robust glass material that protects against damage from the front side. To ensure equipment safety, the front side of the panel is designed according to the international protection standard IP 65. The rear side is designed in accordance with the international protection standard IP 20. The CP2716-0000 also comes with a 2 GB DDR3 RAM that is expandable ex factory to 8 GB.

The CP2716-0000 can be used in conjunction with TwinCAT automation software under Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows Embedded Compact 7 or with Intel Atom® also under Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. The panel PC also has a graphic adapter integrated inside the Intel® processor. For continuous operation, a battery pack can be connected externally and installed on a DIN rail close to the PC. Furthermore, a UPS is also provided that auto starts in case of a power outage. As a whole, the CP2716-0000 is an affordable and reliable platform for motion control applications.
