As a new generation of touchscreen panels, the CP7922-0001-0000, was built under a standard industrial condition. Beckhoff Automation’s created this single-touch resistive technology display unit as part of its attempt to provide engineers in industrial systems with a way to quality monitor and control various automation tasks. The CP7922-0001-0000 is a 15 inches Thin film Transistor display with a keyboard. The screen of the product is popular for its durability and high-resolution display. The front panel has some keys which make control operations easy to handle and manage. The front panel is designed with the IP65 protection rating. At the same time, the rear of the product is categorized under the IP20 protection class. This can protect this part of the product from only large objects but not liquids.
The communication interface of the CP7922-0001-0000 is very responsive and is also protected from contaminants from the environment, such as water spray and dust. The product CP7922-0001-0000 panel exists inside the aluminum housing. As single touch technology product, operators are expected to interact with the screen with a single finger at a time. The single touch technology is very sensitive and will respond efficiently to operators wearing gloves or using a touch pen.
Graphical signals and other important data can be sent into this control cabinet through the Digital Visual Interface, and the USB interface. These communication interface are extended and can be connected to the PC at a maximum distance of about 50 meters. The ability to install the panel away from the PC provides operators with increased installation flexibility. The CP6901-1001-0000 display unit can be directly installed on the control cabinet through the use of pull-out clamping levers without any loose components.
During operation, the CP6901-1001-0000 needs a supply of 24 volts direct current. This device comes up once it gets a power supply.
