Product Description

The CP7911-1024-0000 is a classic Beckhoff product, designed for control, machine, and plant applications. It features an aluminum body frame that protects the unit from liquid jets and foreign solid particles. Measured diagonally, the CP7911-1024-0000’s TFT display has a length of 12 inches and a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. The outer casing of the product has a protection class of IP 65, while the connection plug for the power supply has a protection grade of IP 67. The power supply unit connects to the product’s 4-pin connection socket (X 102). The other two sockets, X101 and X103, are for the extended DVI input and the USB, respectively.

Like other Beckhoff’s control panels, the CP7911-1024-0000 has a single-touch display. The product has a length of 354 mm, a width of 326 mm, and a thickness of 28 mm. During operation, the CP7911-1024-0000 can process digital and video signals from an industrial PC through its DVI-E socket. For both its USB and DVI-E inputs, the maximum transfer distance or cable length is 50 meters. Unlike other control panels from the CP79XX product series, the CP7911-1024-0000 has a set of function keys, some of which are programmable in the CP7911-1024-0000’s software.

During nominal operating conditions, the CP7911-1024-0000 can tolerate 95% non-condensing relative humidity at a maximum ambient temperature of 55 degrees Celsius. During transport or storage, the CP7911-1024-0000 can withstand a slightly higher ambient temperature at 65 degrees Celsius. When operating for the first time, however, it is recommended to allow a 12-hour rest period, especially if the product has been transported in extreme weather conditions.
