The CP7901-0011-0000 is an exceptional control panel developed by Beckhoff under the CP79XX product family. It has a massive 12-inch TFT display, providing the user with a wide screen that allows touch inputs during operation. Control panels under the CP79XX product line come in different varieties, configurations, display characteristics, and features. Some control panels may have a keyless design, while others can have either function, numeric, or alphanumeric keys. CP7901-0011-0000 specifically does not have function keys. User inputs are all made via touch. The CP7901-0011-0000 is a compact control panel with the following measurements: 353.8 mm, 326.3 mm, and 27.5 mm.

The available sockets and interfaces in the CP7901-0011-0000 support DVI and USB inputs. One socket with the terminal name X101 is for the DVI-extended input, while the X 103 socket is for the extended USB input. The remaining socket, X102, is used for connecting the control panel to the power supply. For nominal operating conditions, the recommended voltage supply must not fluctuate too much from 24 VDC. The advantage of this control panel is that its extended DVI interface has a signal processor capable of restoring the digital signal from a source. Because of their reliability, DVI interfaces are commonly used for video/digital applications.

Like other control panels developed by Beckhoff, the CP7901-0011-0000 also has a protective earthing electrode for redirecting short circuit currents. Special coaxial and connecting cables can also be purchased along with this control panel from Beckhoff. Some of the compatible cable sets for the CP7901-0011-0000 are C9900-K434, C9900-K435, C9900-K436, C9900-K437, and C9900-K438. These cable sets only differ on their distance or length. The C9900-K434’s connector plug has a protection rating of IP 67.
