CP7032-1012 is a Beckhoff industrial control panel. It is an HMI or Human-Machine Interface, a system that allows humans to interact with machines, devices, or systems. An HMI provides a visual representation or control panel that displays information and allows users to input commands, monitor the status of processes, or adjust settings. HMIs are commonly used in industries like manufacturing, automation, transportation, and energy to monitor and control machinery or processes. The CP7032-1012 is part of Beckhoff’s CP70xx product range. It connects to industrial PCs located at a distance. Operators can access automation software on the PC via the control panel. The CP7032-1012 has a touch-enabled 15 inch Toshiba TFT display. Operators can input commands via the touchscreen display. They can also use the alphanumerical keyboard for command input.

The control panel connects to the PC via a CP link connection. The PC needs a CP link plug in card to complete the CP link connection. Multiple CP link plug in cards can be installed in a single industrial PC. CP link operates over coaxial cables that can go up to 100 meters. Two cables are required to complete the connection. In addition to data, CP link carries the power for the control panel. The protocol supports serial communication at gigabit rates. Pre-assembled CP link cables with BNC connectors are available for ordering. They range from 3 to 100 meters in length. Mounting options for the control panel include mounting holes on the housing or an optional mounting arm adapter. Dimensions of the control panel are 483 x 410 x 28.5 millimeters. The unit has an IP65 rated aluminum housing that can be operated in hostile industrial environments.
