The CP6702-0001-0010 is a medium-sized built-in panel PC under Beckhoff’s famous CP panel PC series. It shares similar characteristics and connection interfaces with most CP67XX panels. Particularly, the CP6702-0001-0010 has a single-touch TFT display, which incorporates resistive touch technology. The CP6702-0001-0010 has a keyless construction and outer dimensions of 430.4 mm, 403 mm, and 32 mm. With its aluminum housing, the CP6702-0001-0010’s front panel has a protection class of IP 65. Considering this protection class, the CP6702-0001-0010 can safely operate in both damp and dusty environments. For safety purposes, however, avoid putting or installing the CP6702-0001-0010 at a location under direct sunlight or where it would be exposed to liquids for prolonged periods.

The CP6702-0001-0010’s rear side houses five sockets, each with a dedicated function. Socket 100 establishes RS232 serial communication, while socket 101 is used for the power supply. Sockets 102 and 103 are for Ethernet connections, while socket 104 provides two ports for USB-A inputs. To use these interfaces, an appropriate cable set must also be bought along with the panel PC. Specifically, the CP6702-0001-0010 supports a maximum cable length of 50 meters and transmits data at a maximum rate of 10/100 Mbit via Ethernet.

During operation, the CP6702-0001-0010 functions as a mini-PC capable of doing less complex automation tasks. It is optimized for control cabinet installations, substituting the need for programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The CP6702-0001-0010 has a classic 4:3 screen format, providing an adequate viewing interface for monitoring component statuses and visualizing data. At most, the CP6702-0001-0010 can withstand a storage and operating temperature range of -20 to 65 C and 0 to 55 C, respectively. For transport, operation, and storage, the relative humidity must be non-condensing and below 95%.
