The CP6503-0001-0021 is one of Beckhoff’s most successful industrial PCs, characterized by its durable aluminum chassis and ATX motherboard. CP65XX industrial PCs are designed to work seamlessly with Beckhoff’s control panels for plant and machine engineering applications. With its compact construction, the CP6503-0001-0021 is appropriate for cabinet mounting via its distributed clamping levers. The industrial PC can operate using an alternating or direct current source. Based on its datasheet, the CP6503-0001-0021 can either work at 100-240 VAC or 24 VDC. The CP6503-0001-0021’s socket for the power supply designates pins 1 and 2 for the 100-240 VAC supply.

The CP6503-0001-0021’s ATX motherboard houses a total of thirteen connection interfaces. Interfaces 1 and 2 are dedicated for PS/2 mouse and keyboard, respectively. Interface 3 is a parallel interface, allocated for an LPT1 printer. The 9-pin SUB-D plug connector facilitates serial communication via RS232. The CP6503-0001-0021 features a keyless touch display. During transport of the industrial PC, make sure to use the recommended packaging. The original packaging prevents excessive mechanical stress during transport. The CP6503-0001-0021 is particularly sensitive to strong impacts and vibrations. Specifically, the industrial PC can only withstand an equivalent impact of 5G for 30 ms during operation. The CP6503-0001-0021’s front panel casing can successfully prevent the intrusion of both small particles and liquids. The rear side of the panel PC, however, should never be exposed to dusty or damp environments.
