The Beckhoff CP6401-1000-0030 CP Panel PC Series is engineered to meet the diverse and demanding requirements of industrial applications. This series has a wide range of Intel processor options with Intel® Celeron®, Intel® Pentium®, and Intel® Core™ processors in i3, i5, and i7 generations which meet different requirements.

The power supply choices are diverse, it comes with a standard power cord of 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz, or an optional 24 VDC power supply to suit different operational conditions. The video signal transmission is done through a DVI connection, and this makes the visuals to be directly connected to the panel. The network interface is an RJ-45 connector with 10/100/1000 BASE-T configurations for a stable network connection. The USB interface is of the USB 2.0 standard and hence makes it easier to connect various accessories. The unit is intended for installation in control cabinets where accurate hole patterns and sufficient space for airflow to avoid overheating are necessary. Other conditions are the minimum and maximum temperature, which must be sustained in the housing, and the clearance above and below the housing as specified in the installation manual. For transport and handling, it is recommended to use the original package to avoid mechanical stress and vibrations. Precautions such as earthing to reduce noise interference and protect the circuit from moisture formation are used.

Power connections are maintained by a 5-pin CAGE CLAMP plug connector for easy and tight connection of the device. The voltage and current are within the operational range with voltage ranging from 250V (EN) while 300V (CSA) and current ranging from 16A (EN) and 15A (CSA). The low-impedance earthing connections should be used to reduce electromagnetic interference and to increase the safety level. The device needs a minimum of 100mm of space for air circulation around the housing of the Panel PC for its longer and more reliable use in industrial applications.
