The Beckhoff CP3918-0000 control panel serves as an efficient interface between operators and automation systems, facilitating monitoring and control functions. It features an 18.5-inch display with multi-touch functionality that allows easy navigation and control of more than one function at the same time. The display boasts excellent visuals owing to its high 1366 x 768-pixel resolution. This delivers an enhanced user experience facilitating readability and quick navigation for efficient performance. This panel relies on a DVI/USB Extended interface to connect to PCs in the automation system. It provides a reliable system for transmitting data and video signals over extended distances covering up to 100 meters. This gives users leeway to set up their system based on their workspace setup and other factors such as application needs.
The CP-Link 4 interface is a key feature of the Beckhoff CP3918-0000. It utilizes standard Cat.6A cabling to facilitate data and power transmission, supporting high-speed data communication for efficient system performance. This interface is capable of data speeds of 100 Mbit/s, ensuring rapid data transfer for various peripherals. For enhanced connectivity, the control panel is also fitted with two round M12 connectors to ensure reliable connections for both CP-Link 4 and an optional 24 V power supply.
