The Beckhoff C6 Industrial PC Series, model C6930-1069-0030, is a fine demonstration of modern compact industrial computing technology. This type is housed in a relatively sturdy and small aluminum enclosure that may be easily integrated into various workplaces.

The C6930-1069-0030 is based on the 3½ inch Beckhoff motherboard, with a choice of the latest generation Intel Core i7, i3, i5, or Celeron processors as well as being able to be configured for specific industrial requirements. The open and fanless cooling system which has the fins on the right-hand side panel helps to work at temperatures of 55°C with no need for fans and less frequency of maintenance which increases the service life of the system. The power supply is a dependable 24 V DC power source, with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) optional power package, useful for applications where downtime is intolerable. Storage is excellent with a 2½-inch hard drive bay that can have an additional drive added to it. Also, through the SATA RAID controller, hard disks, SSDs, or CFast cards can be mirrored thus improving data protection. Connections can be made with the network through two built-in Ethernet ports thus providing the advantage of network redundancy. It has an excellent expansion feature, where there are two open PCIe modules and two PCI slots, which can have combinations with PCIe which provides high flexibility for a system upgrade.

The choices are rear or side panel installation, enabling the user to place the system in any location that suits the room layout. For data protection, the system features NOVRAM for non-volatile storage of information. The compatibility of the software with TwinCAT automation software under Windows IoT Enterprise allows this PC to be used as a powerful tool for automation tasks in complex industrial applications.
