Within Beckhoff's AX5000 series, the AX5203-0000-0200 is a digital compact servo drive with two channels that are designed for jobs that need to be very accurate and work well. Beckhoff is famous for its high-tech ways to automate things. The servo motor builds on this reputation by offering dependable motion control with EtherCAT communication.

The AX5203-0000-0200 digital compact servo drive can handle a 3-phase supply power of 100 to 480 V AC and can send out 10 A of current at its peak per channel. The maximum output current of the servo drive can be set to 2 x 1.5 A, 2 x 3 A, or 2 x 6 A that depend on what the motor needs. Up to 875 V DC can be sent through the drive's DC link, and the servo drive can handle 235 uF of capacitance. The servo drive also has an 85-W power loss and a design that makes it better at getting rid of heat. The servo drive works with many feedback systems, such as EnDat 2.1, Resolver, BiSS, Hiperface, and OCT, so it can be used with many different types of motors.
