The AX5190-0000-0200 is a product of Beckhoff Company under its series of AX5000 servo drives. Like other drives in this series, it should assume a vertical orientation during mounting and ample ventilation is to be provided for uninterrupted airflow. It features power dissipation of 1300W, a maximum braking power of 67kW, and a maximum DC link voltage of 890VDC. It has a rated supply voltage of 3 x 400-480VAC, a peak output current of 180A and a rated output current of 90A. It comes with an auxiliary fan for improved cooling, a standard version, and a single channel.
The AX5190-0000-0200 ambient conditions include a protection category of IP 20, 1000 meters above sea level operating height without reduced power, pollution degree of 2% according to EN 60664-1, and permissible air humidity of between 15% and 85%. Ensure that there is no condensation during transportation or inside the cabinet since the water settles on parts of the motor which leads to damage. The ambient temperature during operation is 0 to 40 degrees while the storage temperature is -25 to 55 degrees. This single-channel version is intended for cost-effectiveness and function for the task at hand.
When the AX5190-0000-0200 is used in conjunction with EtherCAT, they form a system that offers minimum cycle times and supports highly dynamic positioning tasks. The drive is not designed for stand-alone operation and should be installed in an electric machine. Since the surface of the connected devices may exceed 50 degrees you should not touch the housing shortly after operation. Leave it for 15 minutes and let it cool sufficiently. This Beckhoff drive is designed for torque, position, and speed control of several motors such as linear motors.
