The Beckhoff AX8206-0000 is an axis module from the AX8000 multi-axis servo drive system, designed to deliver advanced drive performance with integrated safety and flexibility. This axis module features a DC link voltage of up to 848 V DC and a rated output current of 6 A, with a peak output current reaching 20 A, making it suitable for dynamic and high-power applications.

Supporting a wide supply voltage range of 100 to 480 V AC, the AX8206-0000 can easily be combined with various power supply modules to form a customizable multi-axis servo system. The built-in AX-Bridge simplifies connection by automatically linking the DC link, 24 V control voltage, and EtherCAT communication between modules, enabling seamless integration into complex systems. The AX8206 also supports energy exchange during acceleration and braking phases, storing regenerative energy in the common DC link and using a brake resistor to manage excess energy.

This axis module is equipped with feedback options like OCT and EnDat 3, and it adheres to the CiA402 drive profile based on IEC 61800-7-201 standards, ensuring compatibility with various motor types and control systems. Safety is a key feature, with TwinSAFE technology enabling advanced safety functions such as STO (Safe Torque Off) and SS1 (Safe Stop 1).
