Product Description

The AX5203_LT00.9 is a dual channel servo actuator of the AX Digital Servo Drive Series of Beckhoff designed for advanced motion control application requirements. It is compatible with EtherCAT system interface, thus there is proper communication allowing for fast and dependable controls of moving tasks.

This module is intended to withstand a rated supply voltage of 3 x 100…480 AC V ±10 % and it is catered with a maximum allowable DC link voltage of 875 V D C. Each channel is characterized by a 3 Amp rated output current with an additional facility of a peak output current of 10 Amp, thus the actuator will be ideal in dynamic applications where there are changes in load requirements. Regarding feedback, the AX5203_LT00.9 has feedback such as SinCos 1 Vpp, resolver, EnDat 2.1, Hiperface, BiSS B, OCT add to its specification. Feedback systems are used which increase the efficiency in the accurate and smooth positioning of motors in harsh environments.

The actuator complies with the SERCOS™ profile for servo drives according to IEC 61800-7-204 (SoE), hence there is uniformity in integration of the modules in various motion systems. The dimensions of the module are 274 mm in height, 232 mm in depth and 92 mm in width thus the module is lightweight which can easily be installed among other mounts. The temperature range for operation of AX5203_LT00.9 is from 0°C to +50°C, and it has been qualified for CE, cULus and EAC certifications. This device has firmware version 2.06 or ≥ 2.10 allowing adaption for future changes in industrial automation systems.
