Product Description
The AX2503-B900 is a member of the AX Digital Servo Drive series that provides a comprehensive package solution for a variety of industrial automation applications.
Beckhoff's servo drive includes various features that improve its performance, safety, and ability to interact with any system that requires motion control. The drive, which entered operation on June 30, 2017, includes built-in filters in its power feeds to prevent interference, provide reliable power to other devices, and reduce electromagnetic interference. The drive offers various output possibilities, including two analog monitor outputs, two digital outputs, and four programmable digital inputs, making it quite adaptable in terms of connecting to other control systems and accessories. The AX2503-B900 prioritizes safety, as it satisfies EN 50178 safety regulations. The compliance ensures that the drive meets the highest electrical safety and operational standards recognized in Europe. The drive also has key safety features such as soft start, overvoltage, short circuit, and phase failure monitoring to ensure the safety of the drive and its attached equipment.
The unit also enables communication via multiple interfaces, including a programmable RS232 interface, an onboard CANopen interface, and field bus connections such as PROFIBUS DP, SERCOS interface, real-time Ethernet, and Lightbus. These connectivity options make it simple to connect to existing industrial networks and update or change the settings. The front panel operation and monitoring are performed using a simple 2-key operation display with an LED status signal for ease of understanding and use without the need for extensive operator training. The servo drive works with motors that use resolvers or SMC (Single Turn/Multi-Turn) Absolute Encoders, supporting a wide range of motor types and industries. Available at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty.
