AX2090-L807-0001 is an air cooling kit. It is compatible with AM8000 and AM8500 series servo motors from Beckhoff. The kit installs on the motors, improves air flow and enables higher heat dissipation. The overall effect is improved motor performance in terms of output torque and current, which enables use of the motors for higher load applications. Input voltage for the kit is 24 Volts DC with 10% tolerance. Its power requirement is 31.2 Watts. Protection rating of the kit is IP20. IP stands for Ingress Protection. The first digit indicates protection against solid objects. A rating of 2 means it is protected against fingers or similar objects. The second digit indicates protection against moisture. A rating of 0 means there is no special protection against water.

The kit should only be mounted when the motor is completely stopped and has cooled down. The pre-assembled control cable (part number ZK4054-6400-0xxx) should be used to connect the cover of the fan.
