The curved rail systems AT9050-0500 developed by Beckhoff is aiming to become an integrated part of the track motion module of Beckhoff -xts-bt and it is intended as a precise and robust mechanical solution for application where the travel paths are non-linear and dynamic. These rails are made of aluminum and dura-coating with abrasion resistant hard fabrication passive Technologies. It is provided in a clothoidal form with a radius of -310 mm and is used with different automation systems and AT2050 motor modules.

These guide rails can accommodate multiple mover types such as the AT9011 and also the AT9012 and the AT9014 to fit a wide range of applications. The length of the AT9050-0500 guide rails is – 500 mm and having a capability of being configured together with other straight or curved guide rails to form a modular configuration to suit different travel profiles and system layouts. The advantage of such a modular configuration is that it is easily implemented for the design of bespoke systems for complex motion control problems.
